[Project 1] Jesse - FIGHT ME

When I was coming up with the idea of Jesse, it actually was just a doodle. I was just drawing out characters and trying to figure out example what design I wanted to use. But when I drew Jesse, it was that instant spark of already knowing who he was that I had to use him. But the hardest part of Jesse wasn't trying to figure out his character, but trying to work with Character Animator and After Effects. Both of the applications, separately, are easy to understand. But when trying to mesh the videos together, it became a huge mess. The head was being squished down in size, the parts of the body was being torn apart, limbs were being lost - it was just a huge mess. I feel like the next time I make a character combining both After Effects and Character Animator, I should start off with Character Animator so I already have the pre-set head. OR I should use a null as the head and later replace the head with the head from Character Animator. Either way, this project was definitely a learning process.
